Step One: Price the Block Before You Look

Only then do you look at the line. If the market says 52.5, you have a real disagreement worth betting under. Step Two: Bet the Disagreement, Size the Confidence

Not all disagreements are equal. My working scale on a 5,000 coin bankroll: a two-run gap between my number and the line gets nothing, because that is noise. Four runs gets the base stake, 100 coins. Seven runs with a clear reason, a debutant opener against a swinging new ball, gets 150. Nothing ever gets more than three percent of the roll, however loud the conviction feels, because conviction is exactly the feeling that precedes my worst bets. Sizing to confidence sounds obvious; doing it with written rules when your gut is screaming is the actual skill.

Step Three: Respect the In-Block Information

Session lines move ball by ball, and the mid-block trade is where the format rewards attention. Take under 52.5 pre-block, watch two tidy overs go for nine, and the line collapses toward 44. You now hold a winning position with overs still to run, and the exchange lets you close it: back the over at the new line, lock the difference, and let the block finish without you. Step Four: The Log That Coaches You

Mine told me I overprice first-innings evening blocks in Chennai, that my under bias earns and my over bias leaks, and that my seventh session of any night performs like a coin flip, which is why I now stop at six.
